The town was very quite with no attractions within the town that could be reached by walking. No restaurant at the hotel and few reasonable choices

Good location, very clean and comfortable rooms. We were traveling with our adult son and had booked a triple room, but they offered us a second room for our son for just a few extra euros. The staff, Inga and Hans, were extremely cordial, welcoming and helpful. They provided us with maps, directions, and even made dinner reservations for us at a Gasthaus just outside of Reutte. Breakfast was served in a very charming sun room and was generous and delicious. We would love to go back to Das Beck if we return to the area.

The staff were just amazing! They couldn't do enough to try to make us happy! Their English is fairly good and are extremely friendly! We ended up with a room at the back (#2) and the room was huge with balcony that looked out to the alps. The hotel is in a very quaint village and only a ten minute drive to Neuschwanstein. The village itself is within walking distance to two castles and a fort that are all free to visit and are basically undisturbed other then clearing of brush. Breakfast was included and better than most included breakfasts. Excellent staff, excellent hotel, excellent location!
Little pricey but cheaper then those around Neuschwanstein castle. However the staff and hotel make the price fully worth it!

The management staff is very friendly, flexible, and willing to address all your needs. The rooms are quite spacious for the price, as we had no problem at all with our family of four and all our things in their family room, and it is even better at the price it went for. It is readily accessible from a day at Hohenschwangau/Neuschwanstein, making it a nice place to relax in the mountains.
Just be aware of things going into Reutte at night. It's not dangerous or anything, but if you arrive in the evening, everything will be closed. We arrived at 7pm on a Friday night, and it was quite empty. So if you're staying here, be sure to eat and shop before arriving. The parking lot can also be a bit of a squeeze at times, but again, these are minor.

Great b&b in quaint Ruette, Austria about 25 minutes from Hohenschwangau, Germany (King's castle's). Unfortunately we arrived later in the evening and had to leave early the next day, so we did not get to experience much of the hotel or town. Rooms were comfortable and clean and breakfast was excellent.

The staff and the breakfast.
The shower. It is hard to take a proper shower without making the floor wet.

Corner room with balcony with mountain views. Very accommodating staff, and nice breakfast. Small cafe that remained open most of the time was a plus. Rooms are second floor and without elevator, but wide staircase made getting luggage to room fairly easy. Reutte, Austria was a nice, small alternative to over touristy Fussen as a place to stay when visiting the nearby King Ludwig Castles.

Great Hosts. Wonderful breakfast with best coffee in Austria. rooms with balcony with a nice view. Just need to include a glass of wine after a full day of activity. Loved it!
As with most Tyrol beds, they are a bit stiff. Otherwise we have no improvements.

Love the location in the quaint town of Reutte. It was wonderful to wake up every morning to see the Alps from our balcony. The room was a good size with a sofa which was nice. It was a short drive to the 2 nearby castles. The breakfast was a routine continental breakfast but it was served in a bright, nicely decorated dining area. The woman that maintained the breakfast area was very friendly and helpful.
